Yulia Ellis is a children book author located at Comox Valley, British Columbia.

"I was working as a graphic designer for about 15 years. Three years ago, when my daughter was born, I started to read children books for her and I realized that I want to try illustrating. Becoming a book lover only in my thirties, I wanted my kids to start to love books at the earliest age, so I needed to plant the seeds of interest in books as early as possible. I believe children books are like seeds, and anyone can agree with me that the better the seeds we plant, the better the harvest we can get. So as a parent I choose to pick the very best seeds for my kids and I have to admit, I am very picky at it.

Through my little 3 years of experience, I can tell that to make my daughter love books, I needed to love them too and be excited to read them over and over again. In order to do so, I need to love the illustrations and the message of the book.

I honestly hope that my books can be good seeds for my kids and many other kids."
